The Cherokee Denver Redevelopment Advisory Committee (CDRAC) is a working group organized in the summer of 2002 to involve the community in the redevelopment process in a more focused medium than the large community meetings. The CDRAC is now composed of representatives from 13 registered neighborhood organizations (RNOs) that are adjacent to or in the vicinity of the site (see below). The CDRAC representatives were selected by their own organizations and asked to act as a liaison between the neighborhoods and Cherokee’s team, representing their respective neighborhoods’ interests.

Monthly CDRAC meetings provide an opportunity for neighborhood representatives to express desires and concerns directly to Cherokee and their consultants to help shape the redevelopment plan. The CDRAC remains an integral part of the redevelopment process. Please check back to our website regularly to find out when and where the next CDRAC meeting will take place (generally they occur on the 4th Wednesday of each month and are held at the Denver Design Center).
